Well i've always been a big fan of Games Workshop and i started collecting their minis when i was around 11-12 years old but never really enjoyed painting them. Then after a short while i stopped collecting and went off to university and studied, but found i had more and more time as i progressed through education. In my final years of my PhD i started to pick up painting again and i've been doing it ever since, on and off. I love learning new techniques and having cool models to use. My one policy is i refuse to play with any unpainted models, hence why i play so little and paint so much now.

It has been a while since i've worked with metallics and i need to definately work more with my contrast with it in general. After using NMM for so long my metallics look a little flat and maybe i need to introduce more use of inks and washes to the metallic surfaces. One other hindrance i've had is that since you know im lazy at taking photos and in general mine aren't the greatest but taking pics of metallics is even more difficult i have found.

I wanted to keep the model quite dull and not too shiney and bright so i tried to tone down alot of my highlights. Im fairly happy with the model in general and i think in the future i might experiment more with metallic paints.

Comments and criticisms are welcome.
