Best Christmas present ever!

I've been painting since about 1998, traditionally a lot of 40k stuff but lately I've been doing a lot of work with Fantasy and the odd little side project here and there. I don't game as much as I'd like, and I don't paint as much as I'd like either... but I make up for this by purchasing way more models than I ought to!

I make an effort to try new things once in a while, and every once in a while I'll actually finish something. My current project is the Warriors of Chaos, it's an attempt at doing a 2,000pt army in under 6 weeks for the Fracas tournament here in Edmonton. A $100 ticket should give me motivation to get my army done on time, I would love some tournament trophies to add to my painting awards :-) After that, who knows what I'll be up to!

Sisters of Battle test figure

Hey guys, been a while since I updated anything. I was a bit burned out after finals/term papers at the end of the semester, and have spent most of my time sleeping, playing video games and trying to get back in shape rather than painting. Re-doing my bedroom had something to do with it as well, I no longer have the space for both a computer desk and a painting desk. I'm currently experimenting with a computer desk buried in hobby supplies, time will tell if this solution can work.

This is the test fig for my next army project, I don't think my Blood Ravens are something I can rush (if I plan to make them all Golden Demon quality like I envisioned) so this will be my army for the summer 40k campaign we're running at the gaming club. Big thanks to Kirsten Williams of the 'Eavy Metal team for inspiring the color scheme, and providing photos of her models for reference.
