Some time ago (as in over 18 months) I bought a Forge World Bloodthirster.  I've been doing very tiny little bits of work on this over time, though never really made any major painting in-roads.  Construction wise though the model is pretty much their.  The wings are primed and undercoated (and started to base coat), the body is primed.  However with further investigation, the whip cords and axe were both badly formed.

So last week, I phoned Forge World up and they agreed to replace them - specially cast up as replacements.  Well I really can't fault their service as when I came into work today following a day off yesterday, I found a very well padded box with my replacement parts in.  Yes they do require some tidying and green stuffing, but they are a vast improvement in comparison to the duff ones....

I took the plunge yesterday and bought the "Complete Solution" Miniature Mentor video.  I must admit I'm very impressed with it.  The camera work is excellent and the quality of the painting is top notch.  I've actually downloaded it and burned it onto 3 DVD's myself, as to be honest I dislike ordering very much from abroad - I also disliked the fact that it would cost me an extra $20 (or £11ish for me).  I know that its 4 hours in total, but the cost of a DVD, burning and a box $20 seems quite steep.  But anyhow, using regular 4Gb DVD's is OK :) More -->...

Realised that all CMoN users get a free blog - so have set one up to cover all of the various painting and modelling projects I'm currently up to.  I'll get some piccies of a few bits and bobs done at some point soon.

Being slightly critical, the overall blog format isn't as friendly as some.  I've got another blog that uses Wordpress as it's core and it seems more friendly.  Having said that, this one has taken me litterally minutes to configure!
