  1. Concept Art

Here is some of the great art done by Adrian Smith and Karl Kopinski which i keep in mind while progressing with the army. Though it would be difficult to exactly incorporate the level of detail, I'm inspired by their gothic appearance. Also, the Eisenhorn and Ravenor books are filled with colorful, and sometimes quite graphic imagery *Drooling over Patience Kys and Kara* which has given me a taste of the dynamic behind an Inquisitor's warband. I highly recommend these books even if you don' t ...
  2. First post

I have a considerable force already (mostly just the metal models gw offers) but want to expand with a new addition of totally converted henchmen, tailored to the list I run( ill post that soon).

Again, feel free to comment or even show your own stuff. I'm interested in how many others run ...

  5. Painting Tutorials.......

    Hi all

Well.....I have spent hours and hours trawling through the vastness of the web and as we all know there are many many, many......did I say many? Many blogs, vids etc on how to paint....

  7. DW command squad

Had a busy last few days with hospital visit and prep day so got a fair bit done.

  8. Deathwing!

Well after being invited to a 2K tournament in April, i have had to pull the proverbial out and get cracking on the 30+ terminators that need converting and painting.

I have been wanting to make a deathwing army for a good couple of years, grabbing bits n pieces as i saw them and working out how to fit them into my force.

It started mainly as i always wanted to do an interesting Belial conversion, instead of the usual Lysander with arm swap etc.

    So by ...

  10. Grey Knights progression

Making progress after finding the painting mojo again after a bout of illness.

Dug out the box of GK that were mocking me, and armed with my W&N #7's i set too.

The completed Stormraven came out well, and was the first to set the colour tone for the force, i prefered a darker colour steel, so i was happy to see that it worked well with the contrasting red n white. The heraldry symbol on the side took a lot of fiddling to mask, but the effect looks good. Skulls and ...
