For a full year now, I had this model sitting under my gaming table, waiting to get being cared of. I wanted to finish some other projects before I gave my full attention to this one and you must imagine how I was looking forward to get stuck in. So it is big, it is scary, it is... That's right! I'm finally building/converting my Stompa! Tag along if you're interested. I'll show you the work-in-progress. ...
Hello again. Here's some of the details from my Battle Wagon conversion. A painted sponson: The rust effect on the treads (see previous post for details about my technique): Pipes and exhausts: Some characters ...
Started buy undercoating Necron tomb citadel tile with black and white citadel spay paint, in order to get a bright green colour to take well. Used masking tape to cover the areas that I will later spray with a sepia wash. I then used a fishing net (landing net) that had the desired weave to act as a mask, therefore leaving a repeating hexagon patern of green on black. ...

Hello again. I wanted my ork army to look weathered, battered and uncared for. I needed to find an fast and easy way to paint rust as a basecoat. I'd like to share this technique with you guys. It's a technique that uses 5 easy steps. Step one: Prime your model (or the pieces you want to be rusty) with a matt black colour. Step two: Paint a thin layer of a reddish brown ...

Ok. I must admit I stole the idea from Sukigod (if you still visit this place, dude, come say hello, I'm a fan of your ork stuff). So... I needed a ride for my Lootas and Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun. What better firing platform than a Battle Wagon! I had to make it obvious that the vehicule would litterally be a «firing platform». I dicided to remove the cabin and replace it with a «tower» of some sort. This is the first stages of this project: ...
After a fairly lengthy break I've roamed back into the realm of painting. After six months off, I'm going to be fairly rusty at doing anything.
I really like the look and feel of the Orks in the 40k universe. When one of my friend finally convinced me to play a game with this much investment, I told him that the only army interesting me was the Orks. It wasn't long before I started converting models (as much to save money as to create unique models for my army). Here's a picture of all my looted models so far: My Looted ...
Hi guys! I already post my project Wip elsewhere but I thought I'd try to get some feedback from this place. I'll start by showing you what is painted so far for both my 40k Imperial Guards and Orks armies. I took pictures during my progress so, maybe, I'll show you work-in-progress pictures of my favorite projects. Feedback, comments, ideas and tips are always more than welcome! Cheers! Here's my Imperial Guard army (a little more than 4000 pts and growing): ...
