  1. Hero Quest

The first miniatures I ever owned came with the superb boardgame Hero Quest. Original colours being reddish, I painted them a few years ago (think around 2006). Quite happy with the result, although I would add more detail nowadays. Also very low profile with the colours and just a coloured base (not even dirt on the sorcerer).
  2. Me, Myself and I

Before posting my first pictures of painted metal (and plastics) I thought I'd put up some personal data (done't worry, I won't get too personal):
    Roleplaying games:
    1999-current: LARP
    2001-current: Playing D&D
2002-2005: DM for D&D campaign with classmates @ college
2002-current: DM for a Maztica D&D campaign (reboot in 2007)
2003-current: Playing White Wolf (Vampire, Werewolf, Exalted)
2005-current: Scenario for LARP (crew member)

  3. Greetings weary travelers

So this is it... A blog dedicated to geekness all over, with an emphasis on my humble miniature painting skills.
Who will benefit from reading it? Apart from my players and friends? Probably none, considering the talent floating around these parts (CMON). But don't let that demotivate you, dear visitor.

  5. News

After a lengthy hiatus I'm finally in a position where I can consider picking up a brush again. I must say - I'm a little anxious to see what 14 months off has done to my painting, hopefully I can still keep my paint in the lines...

  6. Pirates of the High Seas! - 20 (Finale)

Well after a long overdue post, Im pretty happy with how the captain turned out and the whole crew, the whole project was to practice weathering and actually working from mid or lighter tones and shading etc, and i think i have learnt alot by doing something im very not used to. Anyway onto the pictures of the Dread Pirate LeChuck and his crew:

And of course the crew picture with following individual shots  in no particular order:

  7. Help looking for minis

I am looking for minis that represent a typical town in the 1700s to the early 1900s.  I also need them to be smaller then 3/4 of an inch.  If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated

  8. Week 21: Skeletons and the World cup

OK; lets face facts. I'm not going to get a lot of painting completed between now and the end of Englands participation in the 2010 World Cup. At the moment it looks as if that might come to pass sooner than later...

Over the last weekend I have managed to watch 12 solid hours of football and another two hours of motor racing Ouch.
In between I have managed to finish my final skeleton figures. This makes a total of 52 Skeletons, which allows for 30 starting ...
  9. Waaagh! (medium size images)

I got tired of Space Wolves. Since the new ork walkers were so cool i decided to give them a try. I have painted alot but im not finnished yet. I have painted it simple but still tried to make them look good. Kinda experiment but im happy with the result since little time ive spent. I have tried with quality instead of the usual ork quantity. Thats why i only have 2 troop, where one is nobs and the other ard boyz.

  10. Deathmaster Sknitch

<p><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Ok, so I'm kind of a whore for Skaven. There I said it! I can't help myself. It was the first army I started collecting back in the mid 80's, so, needless to say, I've amassed a rather large force of Skaven. I was almost beside myself when the new 7th ed. list was released and I got my first glimps at it. That was it, I had to have it. I ...
