Taking a break from my orks and inspired by a recent discussion on the forum I wanted to try something in a limited color palette. This mini was painted with exactly three pigments – chaos black, skull white and midnight blue. Originally it was completely black and white but then some joker said that it would be tournament illegal so I added blue (apparently adding the third color makes it legal). The base is probably temporary – I am waiting couple of small pieces from the Forge world that will be used on the final base. The overall composition was again influenced by my recent foray into Chronicles of Amber, I let you figure out by which part.

I had a lot of problems taking a picture of this model and it is still is somewhat off. Turned out that you have to have just the right amount of light, the moment you move away form the optimal you loose all blending - everything becomes either white or black J, this is as best as I could make it.

Hmm, I tried. Now, I actually see where it is still green.. Things you notice under high magnification and bright light, I will fix it.
