Spent most of this afternoon undoing work I did in January - pulled up the ramps I installed for a friend so she could get around her house after a car wreck.  Her doctor says she's done in 3 months what most people dont do in a year - guess you could say she's driven.

 

Other than that havent painted in about a month, just really havent felt like it after work.  I'm looking at 7 pieces that need to be sealed and finalized, 4 of which might make CMON.

Ok, so yesterday I go to the LGS - I pick up an Iron Man graphic novel, From Hell (cause you can never have too many Alan Moore comics) and a whole bunch of Reaper Minis (some at 71% off - got to love inventory reduction sales plus good dice rolls).  So I'm sitting in my chair reading Iron Man when the GF calls from the other LGS in town - to tell me she's snagged some more Orks for the Horde - on sale.  So she got me a Nob in 'Eavy Armor, a Slaver, and a Wierdboy.  So, the Mob Grows. I may have to take a picture of the mass at some point....

I have come to the conclusion that the people who call tech support have become even stupider in the last four years.  I'm sorry its hard to be sympathetic to an Idiot who Spent $5000 on a TV to IMPRESS HIS FRIENDS who cant understand that he too has to follow the established rules in order for us to send someone out to fix said TV.  Then of course there's the douchebag who wants service right now, or something that is outside what we will do, and knows if he talks to a supervisor he will get what he wants because we are authorized to CHANGE THE RULES - he's read that on the internet somewhere.  And that of course leads us to my third least favorite Idiot - Mr. IT MUST BE SO BECAUSE I READ IT ON THE INTERNET.  Your product is defective and this is a known issue, because I READ IT ON THE INTERNET.  My response to this one is easy - well sir, if the people who created those websites had taken one tenth of the time it took them to code the website to call us, perhaps we would know about the issue - however, since we do not have a division that monitors the web solely for issues with our product, this is the first I have heard of the issue....

Sorry guys - the last few weeks have been a bit strained.

 The bad news was that I got to spend most of today trying to figure out how to attach two ramps (one to the front door and one into the living room) without tearing the joint completely up.

41.  Just starting my fifth decade extant on the mudball we call home.  Been thinking about this for a couple of weeks now, ever since another buddy of mine turned 41 - and missing a buddy who would have turned 41 last week if the crab hadn't got him two years ago while I was overseas.  Although, my GF pointed out that at least I'm not as old as her dad (we share a common birth day if not year).

 

As for painting - I'm sitting here looking at a Reaper Necromancer that needs grass, and three Battletech mechs that are approaching final stage - this is after finishing a whopping 2 minis the rest of the year....
