Long Island Historical Miniature Collectors Society-model sodlier show 2010 - Novemer 20th, 2010
Since it is about 30 minutes drive from my house it will be criminal not to attend. Need to figure out what to bring this year

I participated in multiple painting competitions both on local “state” and national levels but always on a competing side of things. This year NYC Demon in the City miniature painting competition will take place on Novemebr 6th during GW Greenwich Village Birthday celebration.
Entrants will be competing in 5 categories:
1) Single Miniature – a single miniature on up to 40 mm base from Warhammer 40K, Fantasy, Necromunda, Mordheim, Blood Bowl or LoTR ranges
2) Large Models/vehicles – a large model on 60mm+ base
3) Group/squad – any game legal squad, regiment or any other appropriately ...

Now, after I moved out of Missoury I haven't seen anything like this.It last whole 10 minutes. In the end we had multiple downed tree, damaged cars and buildings. There are streets in Queens that have not a single tree standing. I was driving through this storm yesterday to pick up my daughter from school. A tree hit their building and broke some windows in gym.

Bizarre Bazaar at NYC Games Workshop on 8th street!

Well, the rumors circulating for a couple of weeks were now given form on the Bells of lost Souls. No substance yet, but considering last year rumors about the LA Games day I am afraid we might end up with a single Games day. Yesterday, in my local GW after I complained a lot about delayed Toronto GD coverage one of the employees mentioned that GW website undergoes substantial revamping and that the new incarnation will be essentially, well, "new". How new I don't know but he even mentioned a promotional campaign that GW will be starting soon.He even mentioned special T-shirts .
