From time to time I do various computer assisted designs an collages. Nothing too professional but occasionally it comes out pretty dissent. Here is a logo that I concocted for a certain gaming club, that could be easily converted to a banner. In fact I am working on a renegade version of this. This was done in Corel Draw and exists in a variety of vector formats, if anybody is interested -yell, I see what I can do
Hiii there guys!!! I have been speaking with Jim for a while and finally here it is!!! his version of our talerevision HOOK!!! Thanks Jim! enjoy
Apologies for the title I've got a lot done since the last update, including the chaplain, two death company dreadnoughts, the commander and his honour guard.I've had a couple of people contact me asking why I've left the scrollwork so light and plain. This is because there will be some 'scruipture' of some description on all the scrolls in the amy, be they armour detail or actual parchment. Generally I save all that stuff to do as one big batch just before finish the bases, which is why the ...
I've been working some more on the Runelord. I washed the bronze to tone down the yellowishness of it a bit. It's a little less yellow but I lost quite a bit of the toning. Tried to correct it but instead i put in too much white in some areas. At first I thougt I had to start all over, but now I'm leaning towards that it might actually be a quite quick fix.The iron/steel NMM wont turn out the way I want it to. The brightest white wont turn out quite white, it has a sliiight gray tone to it, it frustrates ...
I've started out on my Runelord. As mentioned in previous notes it's intended to be a notch above my regular dwarfs, emphasis on Intended. Wether or not it's the case once I'm done remains to be seenHere's what I've got so far.I'm sort of happy with what I've got so far. Since it's wip there's going to be a lot of going back and forth tweaking already painted areas. I think the bronze is turning out a bit too yellowish. I can see some stuff that needs fixing some highlights doesn't make sense, ...
I was excited about making an unusual Warior of Minas Tirith - a trapped hero or a furious berserk, so to say. Converted him from the archer as on the bottom photo by cutting his arms, quiver and sculpting new head. I didn't make the base because I still have no idea how to use this guy. Maybe I'll place him on a small diorama surrounded by enemies or he will become a part of a bigger scene. I don't know yet.
I'm finally finished with my first unit from the Dwarf batallion, the Longbeards. I'm pretty satisified with the result. The NMM has been simlplified to speed up the painting process, I still think it looks ok though. One dwarf is missing, for various reasons. I still haven't painted the musicians drum, I'll paint that when I paint the next regiment with a drummer for musician. Here's the finished result Feel free to comment, all criticism is more than welcome. Now I've started on the ...
A while back I bought a dwarf batallion and I'm close to finished with my first unit of longbeards. It's been 12 years since I painted my last miniature and while browsing some forums I ran into NMM. I had never heard of this before but I sure liked the Idea so I descided to give it a go. It made sense to me that practice makes perfect so I went all in and descided to paint my entire batallion in NMM.I'm fully aware of the fact that the results will suck initially and that the quality will wary ...
Both the bloodbowl figures I'm working on are now complete, as are the deeath company. Sadly only the pics of BB mini's have come out looking okay. Now underway are the fleshtearers honour guard and commander, I'll get pics of those and the ocmpleted death company next time.
