Ok. I must admit I stole the idea from Sukigod (if you still visit this place, dude, come say hello, I'm a fan of your ork stuff).

So here's how I made my fully-fonctionnal-sponsons for my Battle Wagon (see previous post).

What you need:
- Spare cannons (your choice)
- empty contact lenses containers
- a spent highlighter (or some big plastic tubes)

First, you have to cut a lenght of tube (this will be the rotating part):



Then, you must separate the hollow part of the contact lenses containers:



… cut yourself some Big Shoota cannons…



… and glue them to the tubes!



Here you go! You have a wonderful rotating sponson!



Now, you will only have to surround it with armor plates like these:
