For my first blog post, (since I should get in the habit of rambling) I've decided it should be a brief introduction about myself and what I do. For those of you that don't know me, I am Elizabeth Beckley, and I am a full time professional miniature painter. Yes, this is what I do to pay the bills and I love it! I have currently been painting professionally for a year and a half and currently work in-house at CoolminiorNot as a studio painter. I also do freelance work for companies like Mercs, On the Lamb, and Wild West Exodus. I'm also a gamer and actively game on the weekends as well as play test at work, a great perk of the job.
Speaking of perks, I really enjoy all the conventions that I go to now for CMON. It's a great way to meet people and get in touch with fans. It's also fun to meet other painters and game developers as well people in the industry. I recently got to meet Ted Terranova and Eric Lang! I'm a little bit of a fan girl and like to geek out when I meet the people I really admire.
